Westpac Altitude Reward Credit Cards
Westpac Altitude Rewards is Westpac’s loyalty program for credit card points earned from using your Wesptac Altitude credit card to make everyday purchases.
Altitude Rewards key feature is it's versatility as illustrated by the ability to transfer your Altitude points to a wide choice of frequent flyer partner programs including, Velocity Frequent Flyer Rewards, Malaysia Airlines Enrich, Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, Singapore Airlines Krisflyer and Air NZ Airpoints, All (except Air NZ) transfer Altitude points over to the airline programs at 2 Altitude Rewards points to 1 frequent flyer point. Furthermore you can book flights using your Altitude points direct with 30 Airlines, and of course the program offers the usual options to redeem your points for gift cards and a wide range of products and services via the Altitude online store.
Following an acquisition in late 2008 Westpac now owns St. George Bank, Bank of Melbourne and Bank SA. These three members of the Westpac Group all share a common program which is very similar to the Altitude Rewards Program and is named Amplify Rewards.
Earn points for everyday purchases made using a Westpac Altitude Credit Card
Each Westpac Altitude credit card comes as a linked American Express (for maximum point earning opportunities) and Visa or MasterCard, (for worldwide acceptance), account. So you will hold 2 credit cards but they’ll be managed on a single account with one monthly statement, one annual fee and a single credit limit. This issuing of 2 cards on a single account is commonly referred to as companion credit cards which are designed to deliver the opportunity to maximise all Altitude Point earning opportunities, whilst providing the assurance that you will have a credit card that is accepted wherever you maybe. Transfer Rates of Altitude Reward Points to the 5 Partner Airlines

Yes. A Frequent Flyer Point conversion calculator on the Altitude website allows you to enter the number of Altitude points you wish to convert to FF points or the amount of FF points that you require. After submitting this information, the website will inform you:
• How many FF points you can transfer for a specific number of Altitude points, or
• How many Altitude points you will need to transfer for a required number of FF points.
Yes, your Altitude credit card statement includes a summary of your Opening and Closing Altitude points balance for the month. Your credit card statement also includes a dedicated Rewards message box, which features special Altitude Rewards Program messages.
Your Altitude Rewards account is generally current as of the previous business day. Once these points are in your account they are available for redemption.
